The Corbis sponsorship of the 2012 LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph placed our global team in the challenging, yet familiar role of storyteller. Accurately conveying the spirit and energy of three days of “peace, love, and photography” requires three days of writing, picture taking, and interviews.

The reporting on the LOOK3 blog demonstrated a unique perspective on the many lectures, conversations, galleries, and exhibits from the festival. The photography of Benjamin Myers and Brendan Hoffman worked to further animate the festival’s personalities and portray a sense of community that words failed to deliver.

We’re happy to bring you a revealing set of interviews that were conducted during our stay in Charlottesville. Camille Seaman, Lynsey Addario, Donna Ferrato and Brooks Kraft each paid visit to our corner office on Main Street to offer their highly personal stories of domestic violence, women’s rights, global warming, and politics. Each recounting is served with the immediacy and timelessness that you would expect from such distinct personae.

We invite you to sit back and enjoy the following interveiws, with access that was made exclusive to Corbis at the 2012 LOOK3.
