Deceptively simple, Alberto Ruggieri’s illustrations give form to everyday experiences. His work regularly appears in newspapers and magazines in his native Italy, where he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. He has won international acclaim for his advertising and editorial work, children’s book illustrations, and book covers. Combining conventional acrylic-on-canvas techniques with mixed media and digital tools, Ruggieri’s work examines contemporary travel, business, and daily life. His wry, elegant illustrations have been honored by the Italian Art Directors Club and the New York Festival’s International Advertising Awards. See the full image set.
